What this covers
The Employees' State Insurance scheme gives medical, sickness, maternity, disability and dependants' benefits to employees earning up to ₹21,000 a month (₹25,000 for employees with disability). Registration is compulsory for establishments with 10 or more employees in most states — 20 in a few — once the area is notified under the ESI Act.
Registration is only half the job. Employees have to be enrolled with correct family details so they can actually use a dispensary, and the establishment has to be mapped to the right ESIC branch office.
We register the unit on the ESIC portal, enrol your employees, get insurance numbers and e-Pehchan cards issued, and set up the monthly contribution cycle.
Who needs this
- Establishments with 10 or more employees in a notified area (20 in some states)
- Factories, shops, hotels, cinemas, transport and construction establishments
- Companies with staff drawing gross wages up to ₹21,000 a month
- Contractors whose principal employer requires an ESI code before releasing bills
Dates, rates and penalties

3–7 working days — with the filing, the follow-up and the acknowledgement handled for you.
How we handle it
Applicability checked state by state
The employee threshold and notified areas differ across states. We confirm whether you are actually covered before filing anything.
Employer code and portal access
You get the 17-digit employer code, portal login and the correct branch office and dispensary mapping.
Employees enrolled properly
Insurance numbers, nominee and family details, and e-Pehchan cards — so an employee walking into an ESI hospital is actually covered.
Contribution setup
0.75% employee and 3.25% employer contributions built into your payroll from the first month.
Branch office relationship
Registration, inspections and benefit queries all run through a branch office. We deal with yours directly.
